Inventory;
An Inventory is a legally binding document with accurate written record of the condition and contents of a property at the start of a tenancy. A detailed inventory report contains a full description of the property, fixtures and fittings, furnishings, condition of the walls, ceilings, floors and carpets, paintwork, light fittings, woodwork, windows, radiators etc. The document is agreed by both landlord and tenant.
'Check In'
At the begining of a new tenancy, we inspect the property and compare it to the Inventory. We produce a schedule of the overall condition and cleanliness of the property. We take utility meter readings and hand over the keys to the tenant.
'Check out'
At the end of a tenancy we compare the state of the property to the original inventory. We list all changes, make recommendations based on our professional expertise, and, where practical, make recommendations on the next course of action.
